Carrie Prejean is an American conservative activist, lawyer, and author. She is best known for winning the Miss California beauty pageant in 2009 and for her advocacy on issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage. Prejean has written several books on politics and culture and has appeared on various TV shows. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University and has a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. She is married with two children.
