Caryn Newman

Caryn Newman is an American ceramic artist and potter. She trained in traditional Japanese production techniques during a two-year apprenticeship with Richard Bennett at the Great Barrington Pottery in the 1970s. Newman has co-founded several pottery studios, including Crow Hill Pottery and Willowood Pottery. She is known for her functional stoneware and porcelain ceramics with a focus on timeless, accessible design.
