Casey Stengel

Casey Stengel was an American baseball player and manager. He is best known for managing the New York Yankees to four World Series championships. Stengel played in the major leagues for 15 seasons, primarily as a catcher and first baseman. He managed the Yankees from 1949 to 1960, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in baseball history.
