Cato the Younger

Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Serapio, known as Cato the Younger, was a Roman statesman and philosopher. He was a member of the Optimates faction and was known for his conservative and anti-republican views. Cato was a key figure in the opposition to Julius Caesar and was executed by Caesar's orders in 44 BCE.
