Chad Pregracke

Chad Pregracke is an environmental activist and the founder of Living Lands & Waters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cleaning up the Mississippi River. Pregracke began his environmental work at the age of 17, when he started calling government agencies to report on the problem of trash in the river. Despite his efforts, he faced resistance and inaction. Pregracke has since become a leading voice in the environmental movement, inspiring countless volunteers and supporters to join him in his mission. He has removed over 10 million pounds of garbage from America's rivers and has become a respected expert in his field.
