Noble and military leader
Charles, Count of Anjou, was a noble and military leader in the 13th century. He was the son of King Charles I of Anjou and was known for his bravery and military prowess. He played a key role in the Battle of Benevento and was later invested as king of Sicily and Naples by Pope Clement IV.
