Charles Willing was an American merchant and patriot who played a significant role in the American Revolution. He was a wealthy businessman and financier who provided significant financial support to the Continental Army. Willing was also a key figure in the drafting of the United States Constitution and was a strong advocate for a strong central government. He was born in 1737 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died in 1811. Willing was known for his intelligence, business acumen, and commitment to the American cause.
