Chen Ning Yang

Chen Ning Yang is a Chinese-American physicist and Nobel laureate. He was born in 1928 and is currently a professor emeritus at Columbia University. Yang is best known for his work on parity symmetry and the discovery of the weak nuclear force. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1957, along with Tsung-Dao Lee and Chen Bun-Hou. Yang has also made significant contributions to the field of condensed matter physics.
