Chief Mpande kaSenzangakhona

Chief Mpande kaSenzangakhona was the king of the AmaZulu from 1839 until his death in 1872. He was a prominent figure in Zulu history and played a key role in the kingdom's politics and military. Mpande was known for his intelligence and strategic thinking, and was able to maintain the AmaZulu's independence in the face of encroaching European colonization.
