Chris MacFarland is the head coach of the Colorado Avalanche's American Hockey League affiliate, the Colorado Eagles. Prior to becoming coach, MacFarland played in the AHL and worked as an assistant coach for several teams. He is known for his ability to develop young players and his defensive-minded approach. MacFarland is a native of St. Louis, Missouri.
