Chris Stevens
Diplomat and Ambassador
Chris Stevens was an American diplomat who served as the U.S. Ambassador to Libya from 2011 until his death in 2012. He was a career Foreign Service officer and had previously served in several posts in the Middle East and Africa. Stevens was known for his work on democracy and human rights in the region. He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
