U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania
Chrissy Houlahan is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Before joining Congress, Houlahan served in the Air Force, led a major sporting-goods company, taught high-school chemistry, and was a non-profit executive. She is the first female pilot in the Air Force and the first female commander of the 911th Airlift Wing. Houlahan is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Education and Labor Committee. She is also a member of the Congressional Caucus on Women's Issues and the Congressional Caucus on International Economic Policy. Houlahan is a strong advocate for women's rights, education, and the environment. She has received numerous awards for her service, including the Air Force Association's highest honor, the General John W. Ries Award. Houlahan is married to Mark Houlahan, a former U.S. Army officer, and they have two children. She is active on social media and has a strong online presence.
