Christine Kandie is an Endorois woman from Kenya who has dedicated her life to advocating for the rights of indigenous communities. She is a strong advocate for self-empowerment and has worked tirelessly to challenge the injustices faced by her people. Born in 1950, Christine grew up in exile after her community was forcibly removed from their ancestral land in 1973. She has since become a leading figure in the Endorois community, working to preserve their culture and fight for their rights. Christine has received numerous awards for her work, including the Right Livelihood Award, and has been recognized as a champion of indigenous rights by organizations around the world.
