Saxophonist and E Street Band member
Clarence Clemons was an American saxophonist and member of the E Street Band. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Newark, New Jersey. Clemons was known for his distinctive saxophone playing style and his energetic live performances. He was a key member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and appeared on many of their albums. Clemons was also a talented songwriter and released several solo albums. He passed away on June 18, 2011, at the age of 69.
