Claude Tresmontant

Claude Tresmontant was a French Jesuit priest and biblical scholar. He was a prominent expert on the history of the Bible and the early Christian church. Tresmontant was born in 1927 and died in 2019. He wrote several books on biblical history and was a respected authority on the subject. He was also a professor at the University of Lyon and taught biblical studies at the Jesuit seminary.
