Claudia Chwalisz

Claudia Chwalisz is a Canadian author, activist, and expert on democracy. She is the founder and CEO of DemocracyNext, an international non-profit research and action institute. Chwalisz has spent the last decade re-imagining democracy, first through her work at the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, and more recently through her work with DemocracyNext. She is a leading expert on the role of design in defending democracy, and has written extensively on the topic. Chwalisz is a frequent speaker on the topic of democracy and design, and has given talks at various conferences and events.
