Claudio Neves Valente

Claudio Neves Valente was a suspect in the 2013 shooting at Brown University and the 2017 murder of an MIT professor. He was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 2023. Valente was a 25-year-old Brazilian national who was living in the United States at the time of the shootings. He was not charged in connection with either crime, but was being investigated as a suspect. Valente's death was reported in the media, and he became a figure of interest in the true crime community.
