British novelist, poet, and Christian apologist
Clive Staples Lewis was a British novelist, poet, and Christian apologist. He is best known for his fantasy novels, particularly "The Chronicles of Narnia", but he also wrote extensively on theology and philosophy. Lewis was a professor at Oxford University and was a member of the Inklings, a literary discussion group that included other notable authors such as J.R.R. Tolkien and Charles Williams. He was a devout Christian and wrote extensively on the topics of morality and ethics. Lewis was also a popular speaker and gave many lectures on theology and philosophy. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential Christian thinkers of the 20th century.
