Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson

Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson was an American composer and conductor of the late 20th century. He was born in 1942 in New York City and studied at the Juilliard School. Perkinson was known for his symphonies, concertos, and chamber music, and was particularly celebrated for his African-American inspired compositions. He was also a conductor and taught at several music schools.
