Colonel John Waddy

Colonel John Waddy OBE was a British Army officer who served in World War II. He was the last surviving veteran of the battle for Arnhem, Operation Market Garden. John also served in North Africa and Italy, and later took on advisory posts in Washington D.C. and Saigon. He is a highly respected figure in British military history and has been recognized for his bravery and service. John passed away in 2019, but his legacy lives on through his stories and experiences.
