Constance Collier was an American actress and drama coach. Born in New York City, Collier began her career on stage and eventually transitioned to film. She was known for her roles in films such as 'The Lady from Shanghai' and 'The Big Sleep'. Collier was also known for her work as a drama coach and her advocacy for the arts. She died in 1955 at the age of 63.
