Corey Olsen

Corey Olsen is an American professor and entrepreneur. He is the president and founder of Signum University, an innovative online university that enables students to pursue their passions without going broke. Olsen is also a renowned expert on J.R.R. Tolkien and has written extensively on the subject. He is known online as The Tolkien Professor and leads several weekly Tolkien discussions, including Exploring the Lord of the Rings. Olsen has a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and has taught at several universities. He is married to his wife, and has two children.
