Cuba Gooding Sr.

Cuba Gooding Sr. was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball from 1956 to 1965, primarily as a pitcher. Gooding was a key player for the New York Yankees and was known for his impressive fastball. He was also a talented hitter and won the American League batting title in 1959. Gooding was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979. He passed away in 2017.
