Cuonzo Martin is an American college basketball coach. He is the current head coach of the Missouri Tigers men's basketball team. Martin played college basketball for the University of Alabama and later became a head coach at Alabama and Tennessee. He was named the SEC Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Martin is known for his defensive-minded approach to the game and his ability to develop players. He has been inducted into the University of Missouri's Athletics Hall of Fame. Martin is a native of Chicago, Illinois.
