Daniel F. Polish

Daniel F. Polish is a professor of religious studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is an expert on Judaism and has written extensively on the subject. Polish has taught courses on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and has supervised numerous graduate students in the field. He is also a skilled translator and has translated several important Jewish texts into English. Polish has received numerous awards for his teaching and research, including the University of California's Distinguished Teaching Award. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion and the Association for Jewish Studies. Polish is also a skilled musician and has performed in several concerts featuring traditional Jewish music. He is currently working on a new book about the history of Judaism.
