Daniel Schorr was an American journalist and broadcaster who worked for CBS News for over 40 years. He was a correspondent and reporter, covering various topics including politics, economics, and social issues. Schorr was known for his in-depth reporting and his ability to ask tough questions. He was a recipient of the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award and the George Polk Award. Schorr was also a vocal critic of government secrecy and was a strong advocate for press freedom.
