Dara Torres

Dara Torres is a retired American swimmer and Olympic legend. Born on January 26, 1967, in Santa Monica, California, Torres is one of the most decorated female swimmers in history. She won a total of 12 Olympic medals, including 8 gold medals, and set multiple world records throughout her career. Torres is also a vocal advocate for women's sports and mental health awareness.
