About David
David Alfred Bednar is an American religious leader and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He was ordained an elder in 1988 and became a seventy in 1994. In 2016, he was called as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Before becoming a general authority, Bednar served as a bishop, branch counselor, stake president, and regional representative.
