David A. Gorton

David A. Gorton is a podcast host and journalist who has covered various topics for the Church News podcast. He has also worked as a writer and editor for other publications. Before his work in journalism, he was a student at Brigham Young University. President Gorton joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1995. He served as a bishop and stake president before becoming an apostle. As an apostle, he has been involved in various initiatives related to youth ministry and family relations.
