Theoretical physicist and philosopher
David Bohm was a theoretical physicist and philosopher who made significant contributions to the fields of quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and philosophy. He is best known for his work on the concept of implicate order and his development of the Bohmian mechanics. Bohm was a professor at Princeton University and later at Birkbeck College, University of London. He was also a prolific writer and published several books on philosophy and physics. Bohm was a strong advocate for peace and social justice, and he was involved in various activist efforts throughout his life. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 80.
