David Malpass

David Malpass is an American economist and politician who served as the 14th President of the World Bank from 2019 to 2021. He was a United States Senator from New York from 2015 to 2017. Malpass is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Harvard University. He is known for his work on economic development and international finance. Malpass is a strong advocate for free market policies and has been a vocal critic of climate change mitigation efforts. He is based in Washington, D.C.
