David Miles

David Miles is a professor of financial economics at Imperial College Business School. He has published extensively on macroeconomic policy and financial markets. Miles has worked at the Bank of England and the European Central Bank. He is a fellow of the British Academy and a member of the European Central Bank's Monetary Policy Committee. Miles has also served as the chief economist of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee. He is known for his research on monetary policy and its effects on the economy.
