About David

David Popper was a Czech-American cellist and composer. He was born in 1847 in Prague, Bohemia, and died in 1917 in New York City. Popper was known for his technical mastery of the cello and his compositions for solo cello and cello with piano accompaniment. He was a popular performer and teacher in his lifetime, and his music remains popular among classical music enthusiasts today.
