Canadian astronaut and engineer
David Saint-Jacques is a Canadian astronaut and engineer who was born on April 21, 1970, in Montreal, Quebec. Saint-Jacques graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada and became a fighter pilot before being selected as an astronaut in 2009. He flew on the Soyuz MS-12 mission to the International Space Station in 2019 and spent 205 days on board. Saint-Jacques has also worked as a test pilot and has a Ph.D. in engineering. He is known for his work on the Canadian Space Agency's robotic arm and his advocacy for space exploration. Saint-Jacques is also a talented musician and has released several albums.
