Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering
David Saldaña is an assistant professor in the department of computer science and engineering at Lehigh University. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. Saldaña's research focuses on developing resilient and adaptive systems, including collaborative robots. He has published numerous papers on the topic and has received awards for his contributions to the field. Saldaña is also a licensed pilot and has a strong interest in aerospace engineering. He is currently working on several projects, including the development of autonomous drones for search and rescue missions. Saldaña is a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and has served as a reviewer for several top-tier conferences. He is also a fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence.
