New Orleans attorney and witness in the JFK assassination investigation
Dean A. Andrews, Jr. was a New Orleans attorney who was called to testify before the Warren Commission in 1964. He was known for his flamboyant personality and his jive-talking style. Andrews was also a witness in the investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He had previously testified before the Warren Commission, but his testimony was later contradicted by other evidence. Andrews was charged with perjury and gave additional testimony that would result in additional perjury charges. He was a prominent figure in New Orleans and was known for his charisma and his ability to tell stories. Andrews passed away in 2006.
