Deborah Rutter

Deborah Rutter is an American arts administrator and educator. She is the president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Rutter has a long history of working in the arts, including serving as the president of the Kennedy Center from 2001 to 2018. She has also held positions at the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kennedy Center's National Symphony Orchestra. Rutter has been recognized for her work in the arts, including being named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine.
