Deborah Willis is a photographer, curator, and professor at New York University. She is one of the foremost authorities on Black photography and has dedicated her career to cataloging and showcasing Black photographers and photos of Black people. Willis has written several books on the subject, including the seminal work 'Reflections in Black: A History of Black Photographers 1840 to the Present'.
