Debra Houry

Debra Houry is an American physician and former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She has extensive experience in public health and has worked on various initiatives to improve healthcare and prevent disease. Houry has also worked as a professor and a researcher. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Before becoming the CDC director, Houry worked as a physician and a researcher.
