Diarmait Mac Murchada

Diarmait Mac Murchada was a king of Leinster and Lord of Dublin in the 11th century. He was a member of the Uí Cheinnselaig dynasty and ruled from 1070 until his death in 1072. Mac Murchada was known for his military campaigns and his efforts to expand his territory. He was also a patron of the arts and architecture, and his court was renowned for its scholars and poets.
