Dizzy Gillespie

John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie was an American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He was one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century, known for his technical virtuosity and charismatic stage presence. Gillespie was a key figure in the development of bebop and was a major influence on many other jazz musicians. He was also a prolific composer and wrote over 100 jazz compositions.
