Donald Wandrei was an American science fiction and fantasy writer. He is best known for his short stories, particularly 'The Red Brain', which was published in 1927. Wandrei was a member of the Science Fiction Writers of America and was nominated for a Hugo Award. He was also a member of the Authors Guild. Wandrei passed away in 2007.
