Born and raised in the Bronx, Donna grew up surrounded by a family of jazz enthusiasts and began singing at a young age. She has performed with numerous legendary jazz musicians, including Nancy Wilson, Billy Strayhorn, Sammy Davis Jr., and Count Basie.
