Professor of Psychology
Douglas Mark Elliffe is a New Zealand academic and Professor of Psychology at the University of Auckland. He has been affiliated with the university since 1979. Elliffe's research focuses on the experimental analysis of behaviour, with a particular interest in learning and choice in animals and humans. He has helped establish the Psychology programme at the Tāmaki campus. Elliffe has completed his PhD in Psychology at the university and joined the academic staff in 1992. He is known for his work on reconceptualising reinforcement as a signal guiding future behaviour.
