Dr. Ayanna Byrd

Dr. Ayanna Byrd is a historian and civil rights expert with a specialization in the history of education and social justice. She is a professor of history at Vanderbilt University and has written several books on the history of civil rights and education. Byrd is a graduate of Spelman College and has a Ph.D. in history from the University of Chicago.
