Dr. Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband

Dr. Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband is a renowned surgeon and sports medicine expert. He has worked as the team doctor of football club PSV for over 25 years and is still responsible for their medical policies. Dr. van den Hoogenband has also been awarded a PhD on diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of inversion trauma of the ankle joint. He is the chairperson of the FINA medical commission and the father of Olympic Champion Pieter van den Hoogenband. Dr. van den Hoogenband has been part of the expert panel responsible for specialist recognition of sports medicine in the Netherlands.
