Dr Ellen Winner

Dr Ellen Winner is an American cognitive psychologist and author. She is a professor emerita at the Berklee College of Music and has written extensively on the topic of child prodigies. Winner has published numerous papers on the subject and has written several books including 'Gifted Children: Myths and Realities'. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and has received several awards for her work including the National Academy of Sciences' Public Welfare Medal. Winner is a popular speaker and has given talks at conferences around the world. She is active on Twitter and has a strong following on Instagram. Winner is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
