Dr Helen Church

Dr Helen Church is a GP trainee and academic clinical lecturer at the University of Nottingham. She has a strong interest in sports psychology and its application to healthcare. With a background in medicine, she brings a unique perspective to the field of sports psychology. In her research, she explores the similarities between athletes and healthcare professionals, and how sport psychology measures can be used to improve clinical performance. She is also a passionate advocate for the use of sport psychology in healthcare settings.
