Dr. James Boice was a renowned American Presbyterian pastor, theologian, and author. He served as the senior pastor of the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection in Springfield, Virginia. Boice was a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and held a Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Munich. He was a prolific author and wrote extensively on biblical theology, church history, and Christian living. Boice was also a popular radio and television personality, hosting The Bible Study Hour. He passed away in 2000.
