Dr. Jerry Lawson
Former IBM Fellow and inventor
Dr. Jerry Lawson was an American computer scientist who worked at IBM for many years. He is best known as the co-inventor of the first video game console, the Magnavox Odyssey. Born on April 5, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Lawson earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and later received his Ph.D. from Stanford University.
